The Story
The brief was simple: a wedding that felt like an intimate dinner party rather than a formal production. The couple wanted guests seated at one long table, string lights overhead, and a color palette that photographed beautifully in every kind of light — morning toasts through late-night dancing.
We built the evening around a single long table running the length of the reception space, anchored by low, textural florals in warm neutrals so conversation could flow easily across the table. Candlelight did most of the work as the sun went down, supplemented by string lighting strung just high enough to glow rather than glare.
Design Concept
The palette stayed close to ivory, taupe and warm champagne, with a single accent of deep amber in the floral work. Linens were a soft, slightly textured ivory rather than stark white, which kept the candlelight from reading too cool.
